Diamond + Schmitt Architects to Design New Faculty of Law Building at UBC

There is a mention in Canadian Architect (March 1, 2008) that UBC has selected Toronto-based design firm Diamond + Schmitt Architects to design the new Faculty of Law building. Link to full text (see second news item).

UBC Board of Governors Approves Request for LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) degree to be renamed J.D. (Juris Doctor)

On February 7, 2008, the UBC Board of Governors approved a student-led initiative recommending that UBC Law begin the process necessary to change the name of its first degree in law from an LL.B. to a J.D. At present, the University is working to secure any necessary provincial approval. For more information, please click here.
